Terran swallowed as he checked the numbers. "I have eleven seeds to use?"

"A few days after I buried the dust, the seeds sprouted. Elia has been anxiously awaiting your return. There's never been a bounty like this."

"My word, you're right. This is amazing. Come on, Zoras," he said, holding out his hand. "Let's go talk to Elia and get these planted."

There was hesitation at his outstretched hand. "Fine. We'll walk. My stomach probably couldn't take the teleportation anyway."

They found Elia in the seedling grove with a woven rock leaf basket of loam. She knelt before the rich soil, muttering and sprinkling a white powder over it.

"Terran!" she said, rising to her feet. The age lines around her eyes were smoothed away with excitement. "Have you heard?"

"I have. Eleven seeds. I'm not even sure how to begin. That many plantings has me tired just thinking about it," he said, laughing.

"I have a crew of tenders ready. We can begin as soon as you give the word on what it is we'll be planting," said Elia.
